Testimonials

“I only wish that I had met Paul years earlier (of course he would have been a baby then!). But seriously, I am so grateful for his knowledge and expertise. I feel that he has gotten my body back on track and feeling so much better. Let’s not forget the fact that I am running again! Yeah!! Thank you Paul.” - Monica Coughlin, LMT

“As an “older” adult I have become more aware of body mechanics during everyday activities and how to properly use them. I find that I am far more flexible in movement as a result of the corrective stretching Paul has taught me.” - Betty Allan-Sullivan

“Paul’s genuine, heartfelt passion for life, and being able to really live a vital life, took all the cynicism I had about healthy living away. His infinite patience to meet me where I was, both physically and emotionally took my anxiety about changing some “comfort-zone” habits away. Paul started me off with some really profound books and tapes that made changing my thinking irresistible. He combined this with detailed exercises that felt delicious and yet incredibly powerful. He helped me implement an eating plan which up until then was not negotiable! Fifty percent of my pain went away just by changing what I ate. Not only have I learned about my own body-mechanics and the habits of tension that I had created both physically and mentally, but I also learned through Paul’s own example how liberating it feels to be truly alive! I would recommend Paul unconditionally - An A+ human being!” - Sandy Crowell

“Paul’s teaching techniques have helped me to understand the importance of using all the parts of my body. I am 60 years old, in good health, reasonably thin and have practiced a healthy lifestyle the past 2-3 decades. Nonetheless, I have osteoporosis of the left hip and spine and have been doing strength training for about 5-years. I also need work on balance problems because a knee injury at age 31 led me to use my left side extensively more than my right. I am left handed and can now see my body is asymmetrical.

Paul’s careful routine and wiliness to answer questions about why he was recommending certain exercises led me to change my approach to exercise routines. For example, I had avoided doing squats and leg exercises since my 30’s because of a knee injury and because I have very thin legs and thighs. I erroneously thought I didn’t need thigh, hip, buttocks, etc. training. Paul made me realize I shortchanged myself, my posture and my old age.

He has given me hope for correcting some poor lifelong postures and overcompensations and opportunities for me to develop a more balanced body, mind and spirit as I age. I now participate gratefully in exercising all parts of my body so that I can enjoy my retirement and remaining years. I am delighted to have had the opportunity to work with Paul and I recommend his approach to all age groups and ability levels.” - Margaret C. Harrigan

“I am most grateful Paul for helping me to identify and achieve health goals that are pertinent to my personal situation.

I came to Paul at age 51. At that time I recognized that I was experiencing a confluence of stressful events in my personal and professional lives. I was familiar with some of Paul Chek’s work, and wanted to learn more, so I looked for a CHEK Practitioner in my area on the CHEK Institute website. There wasn’t (and still isn’t) a CHEK Practitioner here in Rochester, NY, but I was drawn to Paul Jensen’s philosophy and credentials as a Level III Practitioner, so even though he was located 200 miles away I made an appointment to be assessed be Paul.

Paul’s assessment was so thorough, his knowledge and commitment so obvious, his confidence in the CHEK methods so palpable I signed up for the program. I must confess that despite Paul’s confidence I harbored some doubts. After all, I had formed many bad posture habits slouching around the planet for half a century, half of which I had also spent slouching at my desk job. I also suffered the lingering effects of overuse injuries from participation in competitive sports, notably swimming and running road races. That same sports background, because of its emphasis on conditioning, also inclined me towards overtraining syndrome. I was, as I mentioned above, experiencing a lot of stress in my career as a corporate lawyer in a private practice, and at home due to various extraordinary events. So the combination of pushing myself at work, pushing myself at home and pushing myself in my workouts left me pretty burned out. As Paul graphically illustrated, my stress buckets were overflowing.

Finally, since he appeared to be at least 20 years younger than me, I thought Paul might have a case of youthful over exuberance about my prospects.

But Paul straightened me out. Literally, as shown in the pictures evidencing the transformation of my posture over the course of a year of working with Paul. Figuratively, as shown in my health self-assessments over the same time. (Compare the “before” and “after” profiles of my stress buckets.) As my mentor and coach, Paul was persistence in his approach, and as his trainee, I was consistent in my efforts, and together we achieved results beyond what I hoped for, let alone expected, at the outset.

Additionally, working with Paul Jensen was sort of a gateway experience as it led me to further exploration of holistic health in general, and the CHEK Philosophy in particular. I subsequently, became a PPS Mastery Practitioner.

Paul Jensen, Jr. is singularly devoted to the CHEK philosophy and methodologies. I am grateful to Paul for his guidance, and am pleased to recommend him to you.” - Gary Karl

“I have had chronic foot pain due to “stupid shoes” for many years, as well as recent development of tendonitis in my predominant arm due to computer use. After unsuccessful physical therapy and repeated reliance on ibuprofen, I gave Paul a try and found profound relief in both traumatized areas within just 2 visits. My son Erik, high school ice hockey player, had broken his thumb and had limited flexibility in his hand due to constant stick handling. He also is now a client of Paul’s and when we both have adjacent appointments, we try to outrun eachother to ensure “first dibs” to Paul’s healing hands. Paul’s proficiencies clearly extend beyond therapeutic massage and include corrective exercise, metabolic typing, organic and natural nutrition and essential oil therapy. Paul is genuine both in personality and in his concern for his clients’ well being, and is extremely knowledgeable but in a nonjudgmental and modest way. We are very grateful to have had him “touch our lives” (literally and figuratively speaking).” - Karol W. Augspurger

Paul,

I offer this testimonial in the hope that it will help you attract new clients. Your expertise has been invaluable to me. I only hope that many, many others will benefit from your wisdom.

In the two years we have worked together, I have made more improvements to my health than I thought possible. When I completed your first set of questionnaires, you determined that my body was so fatigued that normal exercise would actually worsen my condition. We instead focused on nutrition and you referred me to Dr. Kalish for testing.

Your nutrition recommendations were very specific and understandable. We found that I am a strong Protein Type and my wife is a strong Carb Type and my children are both Mixed Types. Although it has been challenging to meet everyone’s differing nutritional needs, the benefits have been dramatic. For example, I learned that I am lactose intolerant and need foods that digest slowly. By going organic, my wife’s allergies have been reduced to the point where she no longer needs her medications. Even the kids are eating better avoiding much of the processed junk other kids eat.

Working with Dr. Kalish has also been very rewarding. An initial series of tests showed that I had an undiagnosed H. Pylori infection (the stomach bug that causes ulcers) that was negatively affecting my digestive system. The tests also revealed that I was in stage 2 of adrenal fatigue. Dr. Kalish recommended a treatment protocol that has me feeling years younger.

With my body on the road to recovery, Dr. Kalish cleared me to begin a training protocol. You designed a corrective exercise program to address postural problems and structural imbalances. Over the period of several months, I literally went from a “before” to an “after”. Unlike results that merely show weight loss (something I didn’t need), my photos went from a weak forward head posture to looking like I had just completed basic training. My tailor didn’t think structural changes of this magnitude were even possible!

Again, I want to thank you for all of your help. I sought an experienced CHEK Practitioner and have worked with you despite the fact that you are three hours away. I consider any travel inconveniences to be a small price to pay for such great results! I only hope that people in your area realize what a find they have in their own backyard.

I’m so happy with my results that I’m going to have my wife work with you. After her two knee surgeries and a host of other issues, you’ll have your work cut out for you!

Sincerely,
Ray Miller

“Paul Jensen has been my strength and conditioning coach for the past 4-years. My goal when starting with Paul was to play NCAA baseball and get a scholarship. I have been playing baseball since I was 3-years old, I eat, sleep and breathe baseball.

As a competitive athlete, I needed an exercise and nutrition program that would address my needs as a student/athlete. I’m very busy and can’t waste time or spend hours working out. The closest gym is 25-minutes away. Paul developed a program for me that I could do at home and still get good results.

As a freshman in high school, I won the MVP and coach’s award. I also broke the school record for the most strikeouts in a season. As a sophomore, I broke my own strikeout record and received the MVP award. At the start of the season in my junior year, I rolled my ankle running up the first base line. The orthopedic surgeon said I would be out for at least 4-months and wanted me to go to physical therapy. But my mom had a much better idea. She called Paul and he gave me a rehab program that allowed me to pitch the last game of the high school season.

My senior year was the best yet. The programs Paul designed for me gave me that little something extra that made the difference between a good season and a great one. I had a great one!

I believe that because Paul was my coach, I was able to strike out 21 batters in a 12-inning game, to help my team win the division title. When the other team brought in a set up man and a closer, I kept going mentally and physically. I know I had the competitive edge over those guys.

I am on a baseball scholarship at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkhill, NY. I am the only graduate of my high school who is continuing his athletic career in college. At the college level, I will continue to have that same competitive edge over the other guys because of the education I got from working with Paul Jensen. Thank you Paul!” - Chris Schoepe
